INCOMPETENCE
This word can seriously mark the down fall of any project teams and/or companies man.... You know, if you jolly well knows that you are not competent enough to complete the task assigned to you, then voice it out way before hand, so that others in the team could help you.
Don't come to me near the project deadline with an email going like this:
Dear XXX,
This is my portion of the work, SORRY, but i really dunno how to do part XXX of the report. I seriously tried my best to do it alrd.

Please do voice out any difficulties in completing your portion should you encounter any in the process. Do not wait till the LAST MINUTE then voice out as the team may need some time to help solve the problem together.

I not trying to say that not completing certain portions of the work allocated is not acceptable, if you have really tried your best, i don't mind to help him/her to salvage those parts he/she dunno how to do. From the quality of whatever amount of work he/she have submitted, i know if he/she have tried his/her best or not. I'm not blind FYI.
Further more, his/her submission came in late by a full day. And the quality is like crap! Please la, this type of quality( pt form, invalid pts not substantiated with any evidence, simply makes no sense at all), i jus need an hour or two at most to crap up the same thing when he/she was given a week to do it....
