Aha, its been freaking long since i last posted i guess? nevertheless, thanks ppl for not abandoning this humble blog of mine, despite the lack of post? alright, we shall look at how i managed to survived the first two weeks of sch. first week was like erm holiday/honeymoon week, with no tutorials at all? came out of the first week pretty much alive i wld say! Then came the highly anticipated(or is it only me) week 2! week 2 was basically a full week whereby i get to experience the whole timetable? So far so gd! but i think i shld be falling sick soon with all the hot weather n hectic travelling.... been having lots of phlegm n mucus recently, hope it goes off soon or rather i get use to it asap! As for CCA, i hav decided to join TPSU(student union), however, to join TPSU, i would need to get through an interview which i heard is not that easy.... thus, i shall be without a CCA if i fail to get through the interview. Basically, the student union organises events for the school. So i guess i wld get to learn quite a fair bit shld i get into TPSU. i guess alot of u wld ask me y not a CCA which is similar to Air Rifle. well, TP doesn't have AR and i dun plan to help the sch set up one, as for the next most relevant CCA, Archery, i deceided to get a change from sports after 4 years with the BB Air Rifle team.
These 4 years have indeed proven itself to be tough but fruitful. i have seen many changes in AR for these couple of years, especially the recent two years. i have also seen changes in the ppl in AR over the four years, n i am continuing to do so now. Friends turn to foes, moments of joy as well as anguish, power strugle have to be kept down at all cost, performance problems have to be dealt with in a tactful manner, management and organisation problems have to be ironed out one by one, even future problems have to be foreseen and countermeasured. i have indeed learnt alot by assuming the post of AR captain over the past two years. however, the path wasn't as smooth sailing as many hav thought. from proving my worth to gaining respect is not a thing which is accomplished in a day or two. sad to say, i didn't handle it too well and hence friends to foes. but, fortunately, everthing is fine now. Friends turn foes n power strugle are the things which i really do not wish to see in my juniors. but to be frank, i dunno if there r any right now. i suppose not. management and organisation framework are alrd in place, it all depends if the new committee wants to adopt or abolish it. performance probs is what i'm really worried abt. with the change of coach, and without the seniors nagging at them, r they being more n more complacent? in fact, those previously thought to be the under performers in my list r now rising up rapidly. this is smth which i hate to see. well, i do feel happy for those rising up rapidly, but on the other hand, if not handled tactfully, might very well lead to the friends to foes prob. it was jus like wat happened to me back then, jus that mine is much more spectacular, reserve standard to captain standard in 2weeks? n it is truly very tiring shld such a situation happens to them. well, y is life so complicated? y can't we all have the lives which we want? i wonder y.....
ok, back to sch life i guess. its been three weeks since all of us(my class) first met each other. n i guess, the various cliques are all forming up, of course, thats the nice way of phrasing it, others wise it wld be "the class is spliting up". this is smth which i don't particularly enjoy. i very much prefers big grps, jus like how the LPS family works! u noe, the kind of everyone can interact with each other effortlessly kindda feeling. i guess thats how things works nowadays..... its truly a pity.
so, erm since friday is like a public holiday, we had makeup lessons all ard! it truly isn't fun n i wish there was no holiday instead. but well since i can't hav it my way, i shld of course fully utilize the wed night since there is no sch on thurs! went to "The Cathay" to catch "what happens in VEGAS". it was sponsored by M1. and i believe its the first screening here, even earlier than the sneak previews. It was i tell u, AWESOME! very gd flim! u ppl shld go watch. but it is not as gd as leap years la.
i guess that somewhat helped to account for how i survive the past two weeks. n i am still pondering over the question, why is it that most of us couldn't have the life we wanted despite working so hard for it. isn't life alrd hard enuf?
