haha, been missing for a few days, mainly due to work, yea. ahah, Canon celebrate 70years anniversary i celebrate 70th post anniversary! ok i random! eh, start work liao, ok la see alot of ppl missing from Canon, especially those i closer to ones, but nvm, still got alot of very good colleagues there! n got one new colleague, jeremy! seem a nice guy! haha, and jus found out that this time i will leave Canon with an event on my last day once again! jus like the previous time! btw, i working until 16th apr. n for those who noes my previous DID pls dun call, i changed my DID already! but haha, not telling u guys whats the new one, anyway i will not be at my desk most of the time oso, so yea.
first two days hav been interesting, learn how to do some research work on the situation n went to Dentsu Asia(advertising firm) to see commercial! then see one bunch of poly students come in to seek sponsorship, but i dun think will be granted...haha, not supposed to name the sch, so yea, dun ask!
n yes, happy belated april fool's day to everyone! hehe, at first i didn't realise that it was april fool's day, n yea, my colleague actually tried to fool me by telling me that she saw a lizard on my desk. then my reply was "OK, i'm not afraid of lizards" and i continued toking to my other colleague, n she was like totally lost! haha, then she said do u know that its april fool's today and can u like "pei he" abit? my reply was on is it so, i seriously forgot, and can you plz come up with a better joke next time? how many ppl r really that afraid of lizards? you shld hav said a big hairy spider of smth similar! but, i really forgot, or else i think i wld hav "pei he" abit, just her luck i guess! lol!
and i was offered a program called "plugging into china connection" by tp, n it involves chinese! it is basically a course for u to learn the financial n legal terms as well as some marketing & translation skills for individuals to break into the china market with ease in the future, n it is offered only to ppl with double distinctions in their both languages, however, i am not too sure if i shld take it up.... yes, no doubt, it sound good n even prestigous to be able to take up the course, but it involves chinese to a great extend, not jus your normal conversational chinese, but financial n legal chinese terminology, i am nt sure if i'm up to it. n its like all y other course of study is in english, n if i take this up, i wld hav to dig up all my chinese skills again jus for like this course with a mere 9credit units... on the other hand, yes, small may be 9credit units, but what of i dun do well? on avg, one sem is 25CU, and this will be conducted over three sem, n thus 3CU per sem. lets say if i get avg grade c for one sem, it wld mean that my gpa automatically falls to 3.9, and this is provided that i get A for all other subject! my aim is to maintain the standard at 3.75minimum, which means that if the above situation comes true, i only got another 0.15 of gpa to spare, or in other words, approx can get another 5 grade Cs. advise anyone?
